a splendid evening to remember - 22nd Sept 2006

22nd Sept 2006 - is really THE evening to remember, coz that i should say its my BIGGEST organised event as MUSA Activities Chairperson 2006! The venue - being Palace of the Golden Horses. Just face it. You and I love being treated like royalty. So, this year's Monash Ball brings you - Royale Escapade. It was such a magnificent evening for me, being the chairperson, more like of the proudest moment ever with attendees over 750 people.

In case you're wondering, yes.. i did hv to give a speech, in fact was the first speech of the evening, i was god damn nervous, thanks bro for giving me such encourgement..

Oh well, the day before i was very scared that things would go wrong and all, so there was a friend who told me, quoted "Nat, dont worry so much of 2mr, you put in your best in organising yr stuff, take a good nite beauty sleep and be THE celebrity of the day, as it is going to be MY night.. and no one and nth should ruin it" (thanks dear, for giving me such support, i owe u big one) coz yes, i told his words, and true enough everything went on splendidly the nite itself, despite the event starting late like 8+, and I was being wanted here and there the whole nite.... geez

if i could choose all over again my table partners, i would hv chose this same bunch of fun and happening ppl, bcoz they gave me the best company and support the whole nite.... thanks to bro for being there when i need u to and attending this event of mine though u nvr ever attend uni events b4, this being ur very first, hope u enjoyed very much, to teoh - despite you not knowing anyone here, jus the 4 of us.. heee. to ken - u supported me all de way from the beginning, from listening to my non-stop complaints, to going all de way down kl to get stuff..without ur help and support, i might not hv done it as well i did....to steph - glad u make it all de way from metro.... hope the 4 of u enjoyed the night as much as i did...

Just in case ur wondering how come these ppl are the best company, look at the crazy 'cute' looks on the face, really hungry, but still can catch a good look on the cam hor? dont u agree that they are just purely photogenic?

and yes, i got to take pic with two really smart (read: good looking) guys, with my friends all asking me, who are my hot dates of the evening?

and who could forget, the leng luis of the nite (L-R: KC, XiaoYun,Me,JiaQi,Kat&Crystal!) dont u agree we looked absolutely stunning?

i thank KC, JQ and Cryst for giving such a brilliant and well received opening act! You guys rocked to the max.. and for JQ which gave us such a sweet ballad... despite us not understanding the language of the song, but we could feed the romance is in the air, this good friend of mine had been there for those times i needed her, and i thank her for that! also to her sis XiaoYun who came along to the ball...thanks.... and kat? Yes, i do remember our dresses resembled so simillarly.....:)

Dan & Me - one of my closest buddy in MUSA, i really thank him for helping me out so much and all, and to top it up, he is ONE great friend, as he always had been.

To my ball committee: Thank You for lending a great helping hand, the ball could not be such a success without the assistance and leadership qualities and responsibility you possed... with all respect, nth could have happened without having such a strong and wonderful team to work with! :)

and lastly, special thanks to MUSA 2006 for lending in support and showering good team work effort in making this event a success! (Eric, ur such a wonderful president to work with as well a great friend, you deserved my respect, Shirley being the vice, always there to give brilliant advice, Michael such a wonderful treasurer to approve my budgets and of coz being at my side, Gerel Tan Gen Sec approving my late submission of reports. Dims, Dahlia and Jonahtan - u guys are there for me to count on.. and everyone else in chipping in this success of this ball.. thanks so much.... yes, i remember the night after the ball... and all after that, it was very much worth it, you noe?

p/s - really like to thank mr lee chyn wey for being in charge of the sounds and lighting of the night! it was all good i tell you, got load of compliments.. as well as to mr farn rong who assisted me all the way during the event, as well as being there to ensure everything went well, you did well! also, to the ball sponsors, thank you for ur support... to all my friends who believed in me, i hope i did not disappoint you...and most importantly, i thank all of you who attended Monash Ball 2006... hope u had a great nite

talking bout sweetness?

well, i have to say, who could ever imagine, but this gotta be the sweetest msg ever:

anyway, hmn, i will be back to celebrate with u for ur graduation + first job + (belated birthday)... I belanja.. we go makan... u choose the venue lah..

u noe why? coz birthdays (and when i say that, i mean belated one) could be celebrated not jus few days aft ur exact real day, not few weeks, but 6 mths later....isnt that too good to be true? plus, i get it on a triple, adding up celebrating for my graduation and first job... what else can i ask for? and the best thing is, for the first time in many times i told ppl i finally got a job, im actually gonna get a treat, not giving one....

see! i told you this msg is so sweet....im touched.... thanks so much! u noe who u are.. hugs!

the day after....

Who could ever imagine.. after late out partying til 4, getting only 5 hours of sleep, i would still go gym..but oh well, this is jus too good to miss, coz its drunken pump by hobbes and manjakid....class was fun as usual having both of 'em teaching = best combination ever!..

After deliberating whether to go Dome or Chillies for lunch, we actually ended up in....CaliforniaPizzaKitchen.. with a Thai Salad, 2 pizzas and 2 pastas... and of coz dessert would be - the freshly baked cheesecake for Hobbes & Manjakid (courtesy of Yas & me).... not to mention countless refills of ice-tea... i think close to 10 times... imagine, the table behind us had served two different customers, but we're still there.... With Manjakid being the 'entertainer a.k.a clown' of the day... wanna noe why? try to take a good look at the pics below:

But i have to say, you cant beat Hobbes in this la, ya noe.... coz being the sane one to keep us "decent" back in our table, he could be the cutest person huh (i guess you hav to agree with me, rite manjakid?) now, take a look in this:

Oh ya, besides being the longest sitting customer in CPK, we hav to be noisiest one there (it was lucky we didnt get banned from the restaurant), all thanks to manjakid hillarious hyper-attitude.. and its all because of the sunlight!

From camwhoring to videowhoring, with manjakid as the director, we did countless no. of takes... til he was satisfied with his fish walking vs fish swimming video..... and did i mention that he was trying to put all the blame on me of the mess, when he was the one trying to hide his evidence of his 'created mess' ... try to take a close look of what he is doing here:

See! i told you so.. we hav evidence yea? so now u noe who's the notty boy today.... hehee... laughters, jokes... gosh, u imagine how bad it is, when u laugh til u get stomachache.... heee.... but it's all good.... dont you agree we NEED more times like this every now and then? lol...cheers!

the craziest nite partying ever.....

Man! i never expected i would start bloggin' ever again, mostly coz i felt i wont hv the time to update it and all, but aft much consideration, i just hav to blog bout partying out last nite....omg! if one word could sum what i hav to say, it would be = fantastic! lemme tell you why...

First, although we went in quite a small group (and the company was great: hobbes, manjakid, yas, mack, bob, ken shen and ali)... but hey! we had the most happening time, coz the five of us, minus bob, ks & ali... headed to the dance floor and shake our booties to the great music the club was playing too.. from PCD, to gwen stefani.. it was all good! (trust me, you would never know who's the real dancer in the group - it has to be ****** , u just hav to be there to experience it for urself..)

Next, the environment there is awesome, coz... you just have to greatest opportunity to witness new things, or should i say "new experience" - for me that is (haha, u guys should know what i meant huh)

Following on, imagine how crazy u can become, without needing to actually care what ppl around of you are thinking bout you...isnt that just great or what?


and yes, how could i not forget, manjakid was my saviour 3 times of the night! and my bro being so worried with me when i started to feel-not-so-good went all the way jus to get me some water...gosh..what i could do without them, i owe 'em big time, and yes, so, i decided to buy him a well-nice-freshly baked cheese cake the next day....


not to forget, we are like cam-whoring the whole nite... haha, til, everyone around is like so conscious bout the flashes here n there...... as for the pics, that would hv to come when i get it.....not all the pics of coz, just some really NICE ones..... haha

oh well, one thing is that: i would never forgot the-craziest-nite-partying with the gang... Hugs to the 4 of you!! coz believe it or not, i dont rmber the last time i enjoyed it so much partying out this late at nite.....

haha....and yes, if you think partying out late if crazy, try doing that, getting 5 hours of sleep, and of coz making it to drunken pump by hobbes and manjakid.....
